quiz correction

Today in class we had a chance to do the quiz correction about the five major religions. i did not bad on it. we had the quiz back because that going help us to study for the Examen.

we took a quiz on the five major religions, i think i did good on because i study and before the quiz we had time to review and that helps me a lot. i hope  i am going have a good grade.

Today in class we talked about the five major religions that are Christianity, Islam , Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism,. Christianity is the largest in the World around 2.2 billion. the founder's name is Jesus Christ, the son of God. the holy book is the Bible especially the New testament. Islam is the second largest in the world around 1.5 billion. the founder's name is Muhammad. the holly book is Qur'an . Muslims see their purpose in life as serving and submitting to Allah. Hinduism the third largest in the world with 1.1 billion. the holly book is the Vedas.. there is not founder it is a series of intellectual or philosophical of view , rather than a rigid, strict set of beliefs . Buddhism with 500 million to 1.5 billion of adherents. Siddhartha Gautama is the founder. the four noble truths are: there is suffering, attachment to desire is the origin of suffering, the eight fold path will lead to the cessation of suffering. Today we had a test on population and settlement , and population pyramids. i think i did good on this test because i was prepare for it and all point i focused on during the review show up on the test so probably i will get a good grade.

On the population pyramid the man always be on the left side and women always be on the right side. there is three categories of age, Pre reproduction, reproduction,post reproductive. when the population growing quick the country is pre industrial, when the population grows slow the country is industrial, when the population declines the country is post industrial.

Today we review for the test that will be on Monday about population and settlement. There is over 7.6 billion people on the planet right now, 90% of this population growth takes place in the developing countries of Africa, South and East Asia and Latin America. The first population in billion was in 1804, 10,00+ year sed. Life expectancy is the average number of years to be lived by a group of people born in the same year. Monaco has the high life expectancy and Chad has the lowest. The TFR in the world is 2.1. People do migrate for two reasons push forces and pull forces.

Yesterday in class we did a presentation about japan, we talked about japan's problems. my slide was about the lack of nature resources. japan gets most of it energy from nuclear power  plants but the tsunami in 2011 shot down the nuclear power plants and japan became depend on imported oil and coal.i was little nervous during the presentation, but i did what i was suppose to do. our group did a good job and at the end we had a suggestion about what japan can do to resolve his problem.

Today in class we review some questions about population and migration.I learn again and i understand. we learn about the CIA world, some industrial, pre- industrial and post-industrial countries . also  about the total fertility rate that must be 2.1.

First of all it was telling about how populations are classified in the world and how they can go up and down. There is three types of countries: pre-industrial, industrial, and post-industrial. Pre-industrial is when the country doesn't have industry, like many countries in Africa. Many of these countries can have money but corruption keeps it away from the people. Pre-industrial countries have growing populations because their population is younger and there is not many old people. Industrial countries have developed industry and their populations are staying the same. These are countries like the United States. Post-industrial are countries that used to have strong industry, but now don't rely on industry anymore. This is like Japan and these populations are declining. There are two things that cause migration: push forces and pull forces. Push forces can be caused by civil war, religious or ethnic conflict, or unemployment.
